V/A - Neue Grüße Von Der Ostfront LP (black, lim. 300)

The cult compilation from the East German punk rock and Oi! scene is back. With "Neue GRÜßE von der OSTFRONT" (New GREETINGS from the EASTERN FRONT), the compilation series launched in 1995 is finally being continued. In the 30th year of OSTFRONT and for the 35th anniversary of Halb-7-Records, an elaborately produced vinyl release is being issued, featuring several strictly limited and individually hand-numbered editions.
13 bands deliver 16 songs, framed by a specially produced intro and outro as well as additional recordings. The compilation contains exclusive material, special versions, and tracks appearing on vinyl for the first time here.

Background:

The first part of the "Grüße von der Ostfront" compilation series was released in 1995. A total of three parts followed. The idea for a
continuation matured over many years. More than a year of preparation, production, and layout development went into this new
issue. The result is an extensively equipped vinyl release with a unique design and great attention
to detail.
The compilation is not intended as a complete treatise on the entire scene, but rather as a brief and deliberately
incomplete glimpse into today's East German punk rock and Oi! scene - direct, independent, and unmistakably Ostfront.
A snapshot of its time, so to speak.
