Oidorno "Greatest Hits" LP (black)

"The complete works of the Hamburg-based inventors of discourse-driven Oi! are being released as a vinyl LP with a lavish 36-page A5 booklet (featuring concert reviews, insults and praise from other bands, numerous photos from nine years of band history), and a download link (a live show at the Rote Flora). In 2018, the first Oidorno 7" single, "Oi! The EP," was surprisingly released on Audiolith, followed by "Le Roi C'est Moi" (2019). The Hanseatic bootboys with their melancholic, drinker image were suddenly a band and not just an avatar existing through stickers plastered all over the city bearing the bespectacled bootboy logo. Oidorno's work-shy and publicity-averse nature generated a rapid surge in demand, resulting in high search rankings for their vinyl EPs on Discogs and over 3 million streams on Spotify for their song "Halt Die Fresse Ich Will Saufen" (Shut Your Mouth I Want to Drink)." A mere handful of concerts per year and otherwise consistent absence steadily increased their already high popularity until it became inevitable to reissue their complete works, subtly remastered, on a 12" LP. Timeless anthems like "Jobcenter Brenn," "Bordbistro," "Aufs Maul," and "Oiverräter," lovingly embellished with typical skinhead themes (sports, cold drinks, big mouths), are now accessible again, even to future generations of suspenders and boots!
